Facebook Posts can be misleading when a neighbor decides to stir things up by convincing a few that the elderly couple next door and their son is a dangerous threat to everyone nearby. Even a back mountain road like Morehead Ridge in the small town of Elizabeth WV is not exempt when a disgruntled man speaks falsehoods and untruths, and encourages the neighbors to speak out publicly shielding him from doing it himself. My parents spent the early life raising their six children on the other side of Taborton Mountain in a small upstate NY country town which was not much different from WV except for the freezing cold winters. As they grew older, they decided that moving south where the winters were milder and the summers were warmer was the perfect place to spend their retirement years. So they began their search and found their slice of heaven or at least so they thought. They assumed neighbors would be friendly and country folks just like them but they had a surprise coming that was quite unexpected in the neighbor next door.
